Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as Communications officer.

This role will be a job share position based on 23 hours. It will be pivotal for developing the communications strategy to inspire and engage people inside and outside the organization with the Control Techniques story. They will also ensure the organization's brand values and personality shine through in every sentence.

The Communications Officer should be an enthusiastic, proactive, and engagement professional with the ability to deliver effective communications to all audiences. With the aptitude and confidence to communicate digitally, verbally, and on paper extremely well with a wide range of audiences.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Communications officer consist of but are not limited to:

Facilitating opportunities for communication content to be placed in front of appropriate audiences.

Facilitating the production of all written marketing content including, but not limited to, case studies, brochures, web copy, white papers, press articles, internal magazines, and social media content.

Be an ambassador for global marketing; strive to add value for the wider organization and for affiliates, driving marketing excellence across the organization.

Manage projects and meetings efficiently and effectively. Use authority and influence appropriately to strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Manage the content creation for internal company magazines.

Contribute to textual elements of other related marketing collateral, including posters, flyers, adverts, and exhibition graphics.

Approving output of internal/external content creators ensuring timely production of all relevant communication assets.

Ensure accuracy and maintain high standards of spelling, grammar, and flow across all content.

Travel Requirements:

May be necessary for meeting/training requirements.

May be necessary for site support and regional development.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Excellent communication and English language skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the company.

Proven experience in content creation and delivery.

GCSE or equivalent English, Grade C or above.

Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Fluent in English
