The Vice-President External Engagement (VPEE) team delivers communications and marketing activity for UCL, working to ensure UCL's public prominence, reputation and influence reflects the university's excellence in knowledge creation, education, and innovation.
About the role
------------------
The Communications Officer's main duties relate to supporting the delivery of staff and student communications at UCL including:
Production of staff and student e-mail newsletters and supporting with the production of content for other channels and activities.
Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and query handling.
Various administrative, supervisory and editorial aspects to the role.
The is a fixed term post covering an internal secondment and is available to start immediately and is funded until 30 June 2026. Please note, this is an internal recruitment advert, available to eligible UCL workers only.

About you
-------------
As a communication professional, you have demonstrable copywriting and research skills/experience, for a variety of online and printed materials including translating complex source material for a range of audiences.
You have experience using a broad range of channels to deliver communications activity, including (but not limited to) websites, social media and print as well as experience of delivering communications activity to engage internal audiences. Additionally you have both created and maintained websites and web pages using Drupal or an equivalent Content Management System (CMS).
Please note, accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including proofreading are also essential to this role.
