Since 2006 FirstCol have been supporting and enabling people to experience a better quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. This is thanks to our great team of Homecare Support Workers. . Due to an increase in demand for our services we are expanding our amazing team of Community Care and Support Workers within our Community Service team based at our Worthing Branch serving our customers across West Sussex. As a Community Care and Support Worker with FirstCol you will be working to support the elderly or those with disabilities in the comfort of their own home while helping them maintain independence. Your role will include completing Client Assessments and Client Care, Plans and assisting the Registered Manager in coordinating hospital discharges and requests for Emergency Care Packages. You will be supporting our customers with things like: Taking medication, personal care, meal preparation, shopping and light domestic duties.

As this is a varied role supporting people in their own home you will need a Full Driving Licence.
