The Lancashire Cricket Foundation (LCF) is the charitable arm of Lancashire Cricket, delivering cricket programmes and initiatives across the county.

We are the designated governing body for cricket in Lancashire, with responsibility for supporting clubs, leagues, coaches, officials, and volunteers. Our work is underpinned by the belief that cricket can change lives.
The day-to-day management of the charity is led by our Managing Director and senior executive team, who work closely with the Board of Trustees.
Role Overview:
The role will play a key part in delivering Lancashire Cricket Foundation's schools programmes, inspiring and encouraging more females to take part in cricket. You will support the Women and Girls Manager with the organisation and administration of activities and programmes aligned to the Women and Girls Operational Plan.
In addition, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of high-quality cricket and community projects, events and initiatives designed to engage, inspire, and grow participation opportunities for people of all ages across Lancashire.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging cricket sessions for secondary school girls, including tasters, after-school clubs and leadership training, and support their transition into clubs and community sessions.
Deliver and support LCF schools coaching programmes, holiday activities, interleague competitions, and wider participation events, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
Lead and assist in community, club, and outreach programmes to grow opportunities for women and girls, including activation at NTP/Urban Cricket sites and matchday activities.
Support the organisation and administration of Women and Girls programmes in line with the operational plan.
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, clubs, and communities across an allocated geographical area.
Record, monitor, and evaluate all sessions and activities in line with ECB and LCF requirements, providing monitoring and evaluation data as needed.
Contribute to the promotion of activities through social media, newsletters, case studies, and the LCF Annual Review.
Ensure project communications and website information are up to date and aligned with funder and promotional requirements.
Assist with high-profile events and onsite education programmes such as Schools Open Days and Education Without Boundaries.
Support the wider work of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation by promoting equality, maintaining effective systems, and contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Experience of coaching delivery in school or community settings especially girls of secondary age
ECB Foundation 1 coaching qualification as a minimum
Strong interest in sport / cricket and an understanding of the benefits it can bring
Excellent communication, presentation, and delivery skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to engage with groups of young people especially girls of secondary age
Ability to monitor, evaluate and report
Ability to plan and prioritise
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure
Ability to plan ahead and work within agreed timeframes
Ability and willingness to travel for work with access to own vehicle
