These are largely managed by Liz, our cycling lessons co-ordinator, supported by other staff and sessional workers and delivered in 5-6 settings. We are looking for additional support for this provision and want to expand our delivery to be more responsive to the needs of the community groups we're working with. These groups are asking for activities for young people and families that fall outside the remit of the existing adult-focussed programme. We are therefore looking for a person who can deliver cycling related activities in community settings and work with community groups and partners to create opportunities to engage with cycling in a variety of ways, including children's activities, family and community rides, either on or off-road. National Standards cycle instructor and ride-leader certification with experience delivering cycling activities would be a significant advantage; however there is the opportunity for training to be received within the role.
