Job Description

Cardiff & Vale community dietetic service are looking for an administrator to join the busy team based in Riverside Health centre. The main focus of the role is to process the high volume of referrals into our service and to support our patient friendly booking pathways to ensure our patients receive the most appropriate care and treatment to support their health. The post holder will ideally be a natural communicator comfortable conversing with patients over the telephone. Experience liaising with health professionals and the general public is an advantage.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to support the community dietetic staff in general secretarial work, office administration, clinic booking and dealing with telephone enquiries. Proficiency in all computer skills is essential, familiarity with NHS patient appointment booking systems is an advantage but training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
