Various Locations within Perth & Kinross



We are recruiting for a Community Learning Assistant to provide support to Primary school pupils in Perth and Kinross.



This is a fixed term post until Dec 2025, 15hr/week, term time only.



In this role, you will assist primary schools to positively engage children and families in their learning by supporting their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. You will work closely with your allocated schools to deliver a range of targeted interventions and be able to evidence how the support has led to better outcomes for children.



As a Community Learning Assistant, you will be caring and compassionate with a holistic child-centred approach. Experience of identifying barriers to school participation and helping children to engage in a range of supportive activities is essential therefore you should also be able to establish effective relationships with children and their families and treat those we support with dignity and respect.



This position involves frequent travel to various locations within Perth and Kinross. Therefore a valid driving licence would be advantageous to help with transport between locations.
