Summary



As a Community Engagement Specialist at GetFix Ltd, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships with our community stakeholders. This position is essential for enhancing our company's visibility and engagement within the community, ensuring that our initiatives align with public health and safety standards.

Recruitment & HR Support



Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interviews, onboarding Liaise with managers to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning Organise inductions and ensure compliance checks are in place (e.g. right-to-work, VIVO access cards) Maintain staff trackers, contacts, and HR documentation Organise company events Assist with managing training matrix

Resident Liaison (RLO)



Act as a key contact for residents across active works--keeping them informed, supported, and reassured Deliver appointment letters, handle access arrangements, and log any concerns or complaints Conduct satisfaction calls and feedback follow-ups post-completion Coordinate with engineers to ensure timely and professional service delivery

Social Value Lead



Plan, implement, and report on social value initiatives across our contracts (e.g., apprenticeships, school visits, community days) Work closely with clients to meet social value KPIs and commitments Build relationships with local schools, charities, and community partners Monitor impact and provide reporting for tender submissions or client updates

Social Media & Communications



Create, schedule, and manage content for LinkedIn and Instagram, highlighting projects, community work, and employee stories Work with site teams to gather before/after photos, testimonials, and updates Monitor engagement and help grow our online audience. Support internal updates, newsletters, and branded templates

Person Specification



Experience in recruitment, resident liaison, or community engagement in the

commercial gas and BMS industry

Strong interpersonal skills--approachable, empathetic, and professional Confident using Microsoft Office, and basic content tools (e.g. Canva or similar) Solid organisational skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites Background in social housing or construction environments Familiarity with social value frameworks (e.g. Social Value Portal, TOMs) Experience managing social media accounts for a business Excellent written communication and verbal skills Excellent planning and organisational skills IT and computer literate Able to prioritise workload and use initiative at all times Professional and friendly demeanor Team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Flexible outlook within role, able to adapt to changes in tasks where necessary A positive can-do attitude with the ability to take ownership and responsibility, with an enterprising work ethic
