Poundbury Pharmacy is a long established independent pharmacy. We are looking for enthusiastic pharmacists to join our Team.

Work Pattern: Monday and Tuesday 09:00-17:30 and Saturday 09:00-12:00

You must be a UK GPhC registered pharmacist with experience in community pharmacy. We will also consider applications from provisionally registered pharmacists.

We have a very strong and loyal customer base due to our excellent customer service. We always strive to go the extra mile and it is very important to us that our high level customer satisfaction is maintained.

As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for the safe, legal and effective running of the pharmacy business adhering to GPhC required standards on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medication accurately & in a timely manner

- Adhere to legal & ethical guidelines and compliance

- Ensure patient and branch records are kept accurate & up to date

- Identify opportunities for improvements & growth within the branch

- Build relationships within the branch and wider organisation, as well as with external partners and associates

- Provide various patient services, eg vaccinations & the Pharmacy First services

The ideal candidate:

- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with patients and customers, with integrity & compassion

- Strong leadership skills are essential. You will be required to build good team working relationships, encourage learning and development and manage staff with the support of the Branch Lead & HR

- Be motivated to maximise the potential business of the pharmacy, through up to date knowledge, creative problem-solving & enthusiasm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-65,000.00 per year

Dorchester DT1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

UK GPhC Registration (required)
