We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and independence of clients with diverse needs, including those requiring specialised dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care. Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and health monitoring Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases involving dementia or Alzheimer's care Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary Administer first aid in emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to senior staff

Qualifications

Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care best practices Relevant skills in caregiving, medication administration, and behaviour management First aid certification is preferred Valid driving licence for transportation duties Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.12-14.68 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
