Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in their own home. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalised support, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Provide patient care in accordance with individual care plans and medical instructions Support clients with medication administration and record keeping accurately Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to promote mental well-being Drive clients to appointments or outings safely Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Support clients with specialised needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care using appropriate techniques Respond effectively to emergencies by applying first aid procedures when necessary

Requirements

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism Ability to assist with mobility support Flexibility to work various shifts including days and evenings as required Valid driving licence for transporting clients safely when needed - Desirable but not essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 36 per week
