Job Summary
(Female worker required).
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Community Support Worker to support an individual with mental health challenges and autism in the community. The role involves accompanying the client to support group meetings, health and medical appointments, and small shopping trips, as well as providing practical and emotional support to promote independence and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and genuinely happy to work in a supportive, person-centred way.
Willing to work initially in the Melton Mowbray area, with the option to increase work over Leicestershire. Requirements: Experience or willingness to work with individuals with mental health needs and autism A caring, respectful, and non-judgmental attitude Ability to work independently and responsibly. Full driving licence and access to a car (essential)
Fluent English is required for this role.
Basic IT skills would be advantageous as smart phone will be provided to complete support logs and access information. Previous experience in care or support work is an advantage, but not necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
