Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide support with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, to help clients move safely. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or manager. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

Community Care or similar care experience Home care services providing personal support to individuals in their own residences. Caregiving roles that involve first aid knowledge and practical skills. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred for this role due to transportation requirements.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Work Location: On the road
