SERE Group, a leading Northern Irish conglomerate, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Company Accountant to join their dynamic Belfast Head Office finance team.

Role Responsibilities:

This pivotal role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including: Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation and production of accurate and timely management and financial accounts including Balance Sheet reconciliations. Cash Flow Management: Overseeing cash flow and working capital to ensure optimal financial health. Budgeting and Forecasting: Contributing to the development and preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Accounting Administration: Effectively managing the accounting and administration function within the Head Office, ensuring efficient and compliant operations. Profit & Loss trend analysis: Identify opportunities for growth within the group and support ongoing profitability of each company. Year end Audit: Take charge for the group to ensure a smooth process.

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Professional Qualification: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Industry Experience: A minimum of three years of industry experience. Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Industry Advantage: Experience within the motor or aviation industry is highly desirable. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers. Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience of performing analysis of actuals against forecast. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and to perform negotiations. Valid drivers license
