Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team. Located at our head office in Capel Iwan near Newcastle Emlyn, this role is vital in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our company's growth. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining our financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including ledger maintenance and reconciliation. Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies. Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Insignia to ensure accurate financial data management. Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes. Support financial planning and analysis activities. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Mentor junior staff members in accounting procedures. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Accountant or similar qualified role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Insignia. Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Relevant accounting qualification is preferred.

Pay: 24,420.00-35,000.00 per year
