Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, with some flexibility

The Role
The Competitions Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Competitions Department on a range of short and longer term projects for the Royal Highland Show.
What You'll Do
Assist the Competitions team with all aspects of project administration including:
Provide administrative on the organisation of all competition sections at the Royal Highland Show.
Key contact and lead for certain competitions, specifically the Scottish Championships.
Administrative support for committees including agendas, minutes and action logs.
Use of internal RHASS systems including competitions CRM system.
Working with other internal staff teams and key contractors to ensure all aspects of competitions are delivered.
Work as part of the team during the Royal Highland Show to ensure competitions run smoothly, process results, and provide a face-to-face point of contact for exhibitors.
Lead on the management of the competitions enquiry mailbox and phone line.
Manage the administration of the RHASS trophy process.
What You'll Bring
A knowledge of agricultural shows and/or livestock and/or equine sectors is essential.
Good communication skills, and ability to work alongside all levels of the team.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, especially an intermediate understanding of excel to include the use of formulas, pivot tables etc.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised, with good time management skills.
Professional and approachable attitude.
Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
The role will require some flexibility in working hours in the run up to the Royal Highland Show.
