About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to provide high-quality care for

children with complex needs

. Hours are fully flexible, with

day shifts, evening shifts, and wakeful night shifts all available

.

This role requires patience, emotional resilience, and a strong child-centred approach. You will support children with:

complex health or behavioural needs communication difficulties learning disabilities or autism emotional regulation or sensory needs
Full training, induction, and shadow shifts will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, structured, and nurturing support to children Follow detailed care plans and risk assessments Support with emotional regulation and behaviour management Promote independence and positive routines Keep children safe, supported, and reassured Work collaboratively with the wider team and on-call staff Maintain clear and accurate written records after each shift

Requirements

Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Experience in children's services, complex care, SEN, or similar settings Able to work a variety of shift patterns (days, evenings, nights) Strong verbal and written communication Patient, resilient, and child-centred Enhanced DBS and suitable references Ability to follow structured care and safeguarding procedures
