The Role:

Complex Care Support Worker

Hourly Rate:

13.50 per hour

Location:

DE3, Derby

Shift Pattern (This is a nights only package):

Nights 10:00pm until 8:00am

Contract Type:

Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the following contract types:
Full Time - 40 hour contract

Part Time - 20 hour contract

0 hours contract

DBS:

DBS preferred

Driver with access to a vehicle:

Essential

Our team of skilled professionals offers around-the-clock specialised care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs, and we are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care that truly makes a difference.

It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one package in a single location. However, there is also potential to work across various packages within the area.

The Person You'll Support - Based in Derby (DE3):

You'll be supporting a

17-year-old with complex needs

, working on a

2:1 night package

.

This role includes:

Night shifts (10:00PM - 8:00AM) Personal care PEG feeding Moving and handling Medication support Tracheostomy care Suctioning
Before starting, you will receive comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and fully prepared to meet the individual's needs.

Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are committed to equipping you with all the training and knowledge you'll need to thrive in a complex care environment. Training includes:

Tracheostomy and ventilator care Postural and respiratory support PEG feeding and medication support
You'll be guided by our skilled and experienced nursing team, who will ensure that you receive the highest standard of support at every stage of your journey with us.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking caring, motivated individuals who are ready to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will bring:

A passion for providing quality care A warm and friendly nature Flexibility and commitment Availability to work nights, and alternate weekends A driving license (Essential) A current DBS, if possible (paper certificate or update service) Previous care experience, ideally with complex needs (not essential if you are willing to learn)
