Care Dedications recruitment agency are currently seeking Support Workers to join our team in Middlewich, UK.

Work with Care Dedications to make a real difference to people's lives which require extra support.

We're looking to place staff in Residential Care Home settings & Support Living Facilities

Locations: Middlewich

Service type: Supported living/Care Homes (all within one location for all age groups) both CQC and OFSTED guidelines will be followed

Speciality: Challenging Behaviour, Mental Health, LD, Autism, PEG feeding, Tracheostomy care, Buccal and Midazolam/Epilepsy care

Training:

All Mandatory trainings plus below

Practical Training and Experience in the following:

? Basic Life Support - including choking, CPR, DNA CPR

and Anaphylaxis

? Moving and Handling of People

? Medication Administration and Competency Test

? Suction Training/Tracheostomy Care

? Brain Injury Awareness

? Buccal Training/Epilepsy Awareness

? PEG Feeding

E-learning

? Safeguarding Adults and Children

? Oliver Mcgowan Learning Disability and Autism

? Brain Injury Awareness

Other requirements:

Driver Preferred

4x Good English Speaking Support Worker

We're looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

- Positive, with a can-do attitude.

- Caring and empathetic.

- Have at least 6 Months Experience needed within the UK Care Industry

Must Have Experience and upto date Training in:

PEG Feeding

Epilepsy Care/Buccal midazolam

Tracheostomy

The Role will involve:

- Helping people to live the individual life they want

- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose

- Supporting people with their medication

- Experience needed with challenging behaviour

- Experience with Autism

-Assisting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.

-Administering medication in accordance with established protocols.

-Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.

-Assisting with mobility and exercise routines as directed by healthcare professionals.

-Supporting patients with their nutritional needs and ensuring that they have access to appropriate food and drink.

-Assisting with the preparation of clinical areas and equipment.

-Ensuring that patients' rooms and communal areas are clean and well-maintained.

-Communicating with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner.

-Maintaining accurate records and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work effectively in a team.

-Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively.

-Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
