Job Description

We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Bank Children's Complex Care Assistants caring for two little boys who are brothers in the WS15 area. We are looking for someone flexible to work after school, weekends and school holidays. Both brothers have a life limiting condition, who require support with their manual handling needs, personal care, medication administration and supporting them in the community to attend various activities. The family own a medium sized dog so we are looking for staff that are not afraid to be around dogs.

At YorHealth, we provide a nurse-led complex care service for children and adults in the community, which includes 24-hour care. Our complex care assistants accompany clients to nursery, school, and hospital when required.

Our clients have a range of complex health needs, and we prioritise them in all decision-making processes. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

We are seeking someone who is:

Warm, friendly, and passionate about the wellbeing of young people, with a caring and patient disposition. Knowledgeable about the developmental and educational needs of children and young people. Experienced in medication administration and manual handling, or the willingness to learn. Holding an NVQ Level 2 or higher in a relevant field is desirable.

Pay: 14.42-16.48 per hour
