Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Hourly Rate: 15.00 to 16.83 per hour with enhanced rates on BH and over festive period
Shifts available: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am- 1:30pm, with potential for additional shifts in the future. You will complete a team of 2 working 2:1 for this package.
We ask that there is some flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave within the Complex Support Worker team.
Eligibility Criteria for a Complex Support Worker
Previous experience working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
PBS experience (essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)

About the Role:
Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Complex Support Worker to support young female living with autism, learning disabilities and complex challenging behaviours. Our client is non verbal but uses pictures to communicate. She is very active and fun to be around, so you need to be proactive and enthusiastic to help with day- to day living promote her independence. You will be offering companionship and emotional support to our client in her own home, day care centre and community. Before you begin, you will have the opportunity to meet your client and her family to shadow existing staff and to ensure you are well prepared for the role.
The services you will deliver as Complex Support Worker:
Personal care
Medication administration
Moving and handling
Positive Behaviour Support (preferred but training will be given)
PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
Accompanying on social events or shopping etc.
Basic household chores
Former experience and awareness is preferred but training will be given otherwise.
Skills training specific to the individuals needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy.
