About the Role



We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused

Compliance and HR Manager

to support our business with finance, HR, and compliance.

You'll play a key part in keeping our internal processes running smoothly -- from reconciliations and payroll support to AML compliance, insurance renewals, and HR administration. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple areas and being the go-to person who keeps things organised and on track.

Key Responsibilities



Support the firm's

AML compliance

processes and act as Deputy MLRO (training provided). Carry out

bank, credit card, petty cash, WorldPay, Stripe, wages, PAYE and pension reconciliations

in Xero. Prepare

journals, VAT returns

, and assist with

BACS payment approvals

. Support

payroll administration

- including onboarding, leavers, pension uploads and holiday calculations. Maintain accurate staff records. Collate information for

Professional Indemnity and general insurance renewals

. Complete

ICAEW and other regulatory returns

. Produce

ad hoc financial and management reports

for Partners. Manage utilities, fuel cards, and company expense systems. Assist with

policy reviews

, process improvements and system updates.

About You



We're looking for someone organised, reliable and confident working with numbers, data, and people.

You'll ideally have:



Experience using

Xero

or similar accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good Excel and reporting skills. An interest or experience in Compliance, AML, or HR (training available). Excellent communication and organisation skills. A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems.
