We are looking for a Compliance & Reinstatement Manager to help lead and strengthen our reinstatement standards and ensure all operational activity meets regulatory, contractual, and safety requirements.
Role Overview
The Compliance & Reinstatement Manager will oversee reinstatement works across multiple teams and contracts, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with client specifications, industry regulations, and HAUC/NRASWA standards. This role involves auditing work quality, coordinating with reinstatement teams and supervisors, managing compliance documentation, and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
This position requires someone confident, organised, and proactive, who can communicate well across teams and improve processes where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee reinstatement works to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
Carry out on-site audits and quality inspections of completed works
Ensure works meet HAUC / Streetworks / client specifications & reinstatement codes
Coordinate with supervisors, reinstatement crews, operational teams, and clients
Manage permit closures, job sign-offs, photos, and compliance documentation
Identify and resolve defects, recalls, or incomplete works
Develop and improve reinstatement processes to increase efficiency and reduce rework
Monitor performance, track KPIs, and produce reports for management
Support training and development of reinstatement teams where needed
Skills & Experience
Experience in utilities, reinstatement, highways, or civil engineering
Strong understanding of NRASWA / Streetworks requirements
Ability to read job packs, permits, and technical specifications
Confident communicator able to challenge, support, and lead teams
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
Full UK Driving Licence (site visits required)
