The Role

We're looking for a

Compliance Manager (Volunteer)

to help us stay on top of our legal, safeguarding, and data responsibilities across the organisation. You'll play a key role in ensuring all staff and volunteers are working in line with current policies and that we're meeting the standards expected by our funders, partners, and communities.

What You'll Be Doing

Monitoring compliance with safeguarding, data protection, health & safety, and volunteer regulations Ensuring all staff and volunteers have seen and signed required compliance documents Supporting DBS and onboarding checks Reviewing and updating internal policies as needed Helping us maintain accurate records on our systems Liaising with team leads to make sure compliance is integrated into day-to-day work Reporting any gaps or risks and helping resolve them Assisting with audit preparation or funding documentation when needed

What We're Looking For

Good understanding of compliance, safeguarding, or risk management (professional or voluntary experience welcome) Strong attention to detail Good organisation and communication skills Confidence using basic IT systems A proactive and responsible attitude Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially A passion for helping community-based projects thrive safely
