Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Manager, responsible for the management, maintenance, and continual improvement of Meteor Communications' Quality Management Systems (QMS). This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across the business, influencing processes, and driving high standards in both manufacturing and service environments.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will work closely with the Production, Service, and wider business teams to ensure compliance with ISO standards, support audits, manage corrective actions, and embed a strong culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Activities:

To manage the companies Quality Management Systems and procedures. To include:

ISO9001:2015 assessments, liaising with external auditors and assessment bodies. Internal audits for ISO9001:2015 and other standards as required Management of QA and HS related compliance platforms (eg Achilles UVDB, Constructionline) Control, issue and communication of company QMS documentation COSHH register and review Non conforming product / service process management Corrective action management and reporting Working with Production and service teams to define and review processes and procedures Working with Production to ensure Quality requirements from Suppliers are met (including Supplier assessments) Management of customer feedback and review processes Ongoing review of existing policies and processes, making suggestions for changes and improvements. Measure performance and identify areas of weakness, recommending and implanting improvements Liaise with staff across the business at all levels to provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to meet quality standards Setup and management of potential future certifications such as ISO14001

Requirements

Experience in managing a ISO9001:2015 Quality Control and Standards function, preferably within a manufacturing or service environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Effective communication skills. Ability to stay current with evolving regulations and industry standards.
