We are seeking a talented individual who will be responsible for developing a comprehensive compliance monitoring plan as well as carrying out compliance monitoring reviews to ensure that the business is meeting its regulatory obligations.
The role is hybrid with the opportunity to work from both the
Blackpool & Manchester
offices. The successful candidate will have proven experience in
developing and executing compliance monitoring plans
as well as a firm understanding of the regulatory landscape including Consumer Duty.
So, what will your day-to-day look like?
As the
Compliance Monitoring Manager
, you will need to:
Design and execute
comprehensive
compliance monitoring plans
to assess adherence to regulatory requirements across all business lines.
Work with the wider Risk & Compliance team to
understand the wider Risk & Compliance environment
and the
impact
this has on the compliance monitoring plan.
Perform
compliance monitoring reviews
to provide assurance to the Board and sub-committees.
Drive continuous improvement across the business adding value to
improve regulatory and customer outcomes
.
Pro-actively
engage with stakeholders
at all levels.
Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscape and industry best practice.
Support team members
and business growth by
engaging/mentoring
to share knowledge and provide guidance.
What do we need from you?
Must have
proven experience in developing and executing compliance monitoring plans.
Minimum
5 years' experience
working in a compliance monitoring role in a FCA regulated
debt purchase, debt collection agency or consumer credit firm
.
Must have experience of
completing thematic reviews
and producing detailed
monitoring reports
.
Extensive knowledge of
consumer credit regulation, anti-money laundering and data privacy requirements
.
Firm understanding of the regulatory landscape including
Consumer Duty
.
The ability to
identify trends
and draw meaningful conclusions to inform compliance decisions.
Excellent
communication skills
to effectively convey compliance risks and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
Professional, proactive independent thinker, able to work and drive forward key activities under
own initiative
.
The Application Timeline
A first stage video call with the internal talent acquisition team (15 minutes)
A second stage competency interview with the hiring manager (60 minutes)

+ up to 20% of your annual salary, paid as a bonus.
This role is based at our
Blackpool
office, conveniently located just off the M55 or our
Manchester Spinningfields
office. Travel may be required between these locations based on business requirements.
37.5 hours per week. We offer
flexible and hybrid
working
between our core hours of 8am- 6pm, Monday to Friday.
