We are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join our motivated and dedicated Compliance Access Arrangements team. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue our mission to safeguard the security and integrity of Cambridge International exams and assessments.

About the role





Reporting to the Compliance Assistant Manager, Access Arrangements, the role of Compliance Officer is a great opportunity for you to join a high-performing team that will support you in developing yourself and making a real difference to the lives of learners all around the world.



Our reasonable adjustments teams take responsibility for processing applications for access arrangements, special considerations and modified papers from our exam centres around the world. We support our exam centres by reviewing applications and evidence, as well as giving guidance. We support candidates with SEND to access assessments and remove unnecessary barriers, without changing the demands of the assessment. We implement appropriate procedures to promote safeguarding and help ensure the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.


To do this, you will be;




Evaluating facts and evidence

; making informed decisions on the support measures available for candidates, identifying additional risks and escalating these to your manager.

Decision making

; from issuing approvals to guiding centres through application processes, you will be responsible for making and communicating fair decisions.

Providing guidance and support

; we support our centres to administer exams correctly in line with our regulations.

Reviewing

processes, procedures and external guidelines; ensuring we are always following best practice.

Supporting

the wider Compliance Group as required.




This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements, should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.
