We're looking for a Compliance Officer to join a remote team of 12 advisors who specialise primarily in residential mortgage and protection, with additional work in bridging and commercial cases. This is a key role ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met across the business.
Compliance Officer Responsibilities
Conduct mortgage case file reviews to ensure regulatory standards are met Hold 1:1 feedback sessions with advisors to support compliance improvements Perform observations and provide guidance on best practices Manage and maintain Web and RegData submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Stay up to date with FCA regulations and industry changes, implementing updates where needed Take ownership of the full compliance function within the advisory team
Experience Needed to Become a Compliance Officer
Proven experience in mortgage compliance or a similar compliance role In-depth understanding of FCA regulations, particularly within mortgage and protection advice Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently in a remote environment
