We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various power tools and hand tools. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments, including construction sites. The Driller will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of drilling operations while adhering to safety protocols.

Work is at various sites around the UK so staying away from home is essential.

There is an opportunity for price work based on how many bolts are drilled daily.

Responsibilities

Operate drilling machinery and equipment efficiently and safely. Conduct routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling projects effectively. Perform heavy lifting as required during drilling operations. Utilise power tools and hand tools for various tasks related to drilling activities. Assist in welding tasks as necessary for project completion. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety standards. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

Experience

Proven experience in drilling or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is essential. Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory. Background in carpentry, roofing, or masonry is considered a plus. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting consistently. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
