Handle all event enquiries received via email or phone during the shift, ensuring timely communication and providing replies or confirmations within a reasonable timeframe.
Proactively seek opportunities to increase hotel revenue by upselling food & beverage services and room bookings.
Prepare detailed function sheets for all events, including any amendments, and ensure all updates are promptly shared with the relevant department heads.
Effectively manage and work within allocated budgets, ensuring all events remain profitable.
Ensure timely input and accurate management of reservations and data for all group enquiries and bookings
Maintain clear and consistent communication with other departments regarding special requests, booking updates, or any other reservation-related matters.
Ensure that Accor brand standards and company procedures are consistently implemented and regularly updated.
Monitor and implement hotel security and safety procedures related to events and group activities.
Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all guests and clients have a memorable experience
Qualifications
Previous experience in event coordination, sales, or hotel operations (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive approach with a positive and customer-focused attitude
Good understanding of budgets and revenue management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of hotel booking systems is a plus
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
Commitment to delivering exceptional service and guest satisfaction
