Job Summary




You will be responsible for the Day to Day running of the UK configuration team in a cost effective and efficient manner and leading a shift on a Day to Day basis. You will also be responsible for process management and ensuring the team adhere to all processes provided whilst being efficient and accurate.



To continuously look at development opportunities within the team for succession planning in line with the company's vision for the future

What you will do:





To continuously look at development opportunities within the team for succession planning in line with the company's vision for the future


Day to day management of the Configuration function, focussing on Administration, accuracy, and Leadership


Driving accountability from Team Leaders


Working alongside Team Leaders to develop their leadership skills


Providing day to day direction to Team Leaders and the wider team to ensure productivity remains high


Setting a daily vision for the shift, communicating issues and successes from other shifts and departments


Work closely with other Supply Chain Supervisors to promote a one team ethos and shared challenge resolution


Driving adherence to the CDW way code of conduct


Setting an exemplary example to the wider team


Holding the team to account for their professional behaviours


Maintaining internal and external service levels


Business management including KPI's, waste reduction, target setting and overtime management


Performance, appraisals, disciplinary, recruitment and absence management


Liaise with internal and external customers


Health and Safety procedure

What we expect of you:





Extensive knowledge of underlying Configuration procedures


Stock management skills


Excellent Microsoft Office skills


Excellent communication skills


Collating and presenting Performance KPIs


Overtime management


Performance, appraisals, disciplinary, recruitment and absence management


Excellent Analytical skills


Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and working practices


Excellent leadership skills and proven to be driven towards excellence


Excellent communication and organisational skills


Professional, with a positive 'can do' attitude
