The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the construction team by handling various administrative tasks. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the construction management team, ensuring smooth operations within the office.
Manage communications with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks, ensuring all documentation is organised and easily accessible.
Overseeing document management including certificates, handover files, and submissions to Building Control
Assist in managing project schedules and timelines, coordinating meetings and appointments as necessary.
Handle invoicing and financial documentation using Xero.
Support the team with various office tasks as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles within the construction or related industry being advantageous.
Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Xero is highly desirable for managing invoices and financial records effectively.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Competence in typing and data entry is necessary for efficient documentation management.
