Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities



Provide comprehensive administrative support to the construction team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence. Perform data entry tasks to ensure all project information is up-to-date and easily accessible. Utilise Google Suite and Office applications to create reports, presentations, and other necessary documentation. Manage QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting related to construction projects. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as required. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Organise project materials and supplies, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to job sites. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the department.

Requirements



Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective phone etiquette. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and documentation. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
