The Job Mission



This hybrid role is based in Bridgwater, and we can only consider applicants living within a commutable distance or willing to relocate -- a small relocation allowance is available to support your move. You will work closely with site construction, commissioning, and records teams to ensure the timely and quality completion of critical systems. Your role will bridge the gap between construction delivery and commissioning readiness. You will be a key point of coordination, ensuring records are accurate and punchlists are closed on time.

Key responsibilities include:



Leading the interface with site construction teams to track installation progress against handover dates. Coordinating site construction activities to prioritise work on critical systems. Liaising with records teams to complete and submit Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) into the document management system. Driving punchlist and commissioning open point closures between construction and commissioning. Managing completion activities to align with commissioning requirements and schedules. Providing clear direction to teams and supporting them in delivering to plan. Addressing technical queries and non-conformances promptly to minimise delays. Representing your team effectively, ensuring needs are understood, and mediating when necessary. Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and handed over in line with requirements. Supporting other related tasks as assigned by the Completion and Handover Manager.

Qualifications



Essential Skills and Qualifications



Relevant engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Professional accreditation in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quality. Able to achieve BPSS or higher security clearance. Extensive knowledge of commissioning procedures and systems. Experience managing completions during construction through to commissioning. Strong leadership skills in multi-discipline, multi-cultural environments. Proven ability to manage technical queries and non-conformances.

Desired Skills and Qualifications



Nuclear sector experience, ideally in a new build environment. Familiarity with process-driven delivery and record close-out. Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain performance under time pressure.
