Job Description

This role (4 day week) offers the chance to lead knowledge initiatives within a dynamic Construction and Engineering team. You'll provide expert technical support, shape precedents, and drive training while working closely with senior lawyers on high-profile projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Education and Training

  • Planning and organising the construction education and training programme;
  • Supporting internal education and training at trainee and departmental level.
Legislative and Case Law Updates
  • Monitoring and updating the team on changes in legislation and case law.
Internal Counsel Support
  • Assisting fee earners with know-how and precedent resources;
  • Implementing initiatives of common departmental interest.
Precedents
  • Drafting and updating standard form precedents and guidance notes;
  • Supporting automation of precedents.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Knowledge Lawyer or an Associate seeking to transition into a knowledge role.
Essential Skills:
  • Qualified lawyer with at least four years' PQE in non-contentious construction law;
  • Previous experience as a knowledge lawyer or strong interest in moving into this area;
  • Strong academic record (2:1 degree or above) and sound knowledge of property or construction law;
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to produce high-quality material under pressure;
  • Commitment to providing expert technical legal support in a practical context.
