We as a company do refurbishment work converting residential property into Hmo's (houses of multiple occupation), we also convert commercial properties into flats, and also do a range of general building work such as extensions, and dorma loft conversions.
We are based in Wigan and all the projects will be in the North West of England so some travelling will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Communicate regularly with managing director to provide updates on project status
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools
- Familiarity with Civil 3D software for design and analysis purposes
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
As a Construction Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and oversee construction projects from conception to completion. Your expertise in project management and knowledge of construction processes will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of each project. You will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other trade managers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Previous experience in construction project management is required.
