ob Advertisement: Site Manager - Project Fit-Out

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Site Manager for a central London fit-out project but to subsequently become part of a dedicated, hardworking and tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of commercial fit-out projects. The candidate will also need to be commercially astute and help control cost as well as take an active part in procuring materials.

Key Responsibilities

:

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth project delivery. Maintain a strong focus on health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Foster strong relationships with the supply chain, subcontractors, and clients. Ensure the highest standards of quality control and attention to detail. Manage and coordinate trades, scheduling, and site logistics. Review and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Assist in the procurement of materials to serve the site (from suppliers with whom we have relationships). Strong knowledge of steel beam installation, foundation and any structural aspect

Essential Qualifications:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) First Aid (Emergency at Work) CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card holder

Key Skills

:

Strong commercial awareness, including cost control. Excellent understanding of creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and the supply chain. A keen eye for detail with a strong commitment to quality control. Good leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team on-site.

Knowledge

:

Comprehensive knowledge of fit-out works and finishes. Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical data. Ability to address and resolve technical and practical challenges on-site.
