We are now looking to recruit a Full-Time Construction Site Manager, experienced in the successful delivery of water-industry related projects.

About the Role
As a Construction Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in our project Management Team.
Reporting to our Midlands Office Director, you'll lead the on-site delivery of major projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is a key leadership position, managing day-to-day site operations and maintaining strong relationships with Clients, Sub-Contractors, and our internal Teams.
Key Responsibilities Include
Overseeing all on-site activities, to deliver projects safely and efficiently, on a daily basis.
Preparing and updating project programmes
Daily planning and management of project resources and monitoring Sub-Contractor performance.
Liaising with the
Greenford
Midlands Director / Commercial Team regarding project cost control, waste management, variations, and confirmation of site instructions.
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Maintaining quality control and managing site inspections.
Collaborating with Project Management and Commercial Teams to achieve targets.
Liaising with Clients, Stakeholders, Suppliers and Colleagues to keep communication clear and positive
Monitoring project progress, reporting milestones, and implementing corrective actions when required.
Attending project Site Meetings.
Producing RAMS, Task Briefings and site Safety documentation
Ensuring that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to site are appropriately inducted.
Delivering site Safety Toolbox Talks, and undertaking site Safety inspections.
Ordering site supplies, plant, and materials
Ensuring all site workmanship and materials meet Specifications, Building Regulations, and quality standards.
Completion of site weekly reports, timesheets and records
Assisting the
Greenford
Midlands Director with the forward planning of labour, materials, and Sub-Contractor procurement, to ensure the project is delivered in line with specifications, drawings, and Client requirements.
Promoting a positive and proactive site culture, aligned with our Company values.
You will have the following
A proven track record managing medium-scale Construction projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
The ability to read and understand construction drawings, and take accurate material take offs.
A valid SMSTS or CSCS (Black Card) qualification, and First Aid at Work certification.
A Thames Water Passport.
Experience of managing multiple Stakeholders and site Sub-Contractor teams.
Pragmatic problem-solving skills.
A good level of computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel.
Desirable (but not essential)
Originally from a trade background, you will have progressed to the role of an experienced Site Manager.
Familiarity with Civil Engineering and Construction Industry standards.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and social value initiatives.
