Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring efficient transportation and logistics operations. This position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities to liaise with various stakeholders within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including shipping and receiving activities. Utilise transportation management systems to optimise routes and reduce costs. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of products. Maintain accurate data entry for inventory management using systems such as AS400 and SyteLine. Conduct analysis of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while handling inquiries related to logistics operations.

Skills

Proficiency in transportation management systems and supply chain management principles. Experience with 3PL operations and logistics coordination is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement. Competent in data entry with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes is essential. Proficient typing skills for efficient documentation and correspondence.
