Consultant Dermatologist Clinical Lead
Job Description
Job purpose to provide clinical leadership and delivery of high-quality dermatology services across multiple community-based clinics across Greater Manchester. The role combines direct clinical care with oversight responsibilities to ensure the service standards are met. The post holder will: Deliver expert dermatological assessment, diagnosis and treatment Provide clinical leadership to all clinicians within the dermatology service Ensure the service operates in line with current best practice, NICE guidelines and national dermatology standards Contribute to clinical governance, including participation in audits, incident reviews and continuous improvement processes Work collaboratively on service planning and development Run regular dermatology clinical, seeing both new and follow-up patients referred via primary care pathways Carry out lesion assessment, skin surveillance and minor procedures where appropriate Ensure appropriate onward referrals for secondary care where clinically indicated Provide clinical advice and support
