Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical fields, providing expert guidance and support to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of clinical practices, healthcare systems, and patient management.

Duties

As a Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and streamline processes. Providing expertise in EHR systems and EMR systems to optimize documentation and data management. Advising on best practices in medical imaging, including CT and mammography procedures. Offering insights into specialized areas such as psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology, and more. Assisting with clinical research initiatives to advance healthcare practices. Supporting training programs for staff on critical care techniques, airway management, and patient assessment. Evaluating current practices in perioperative care, trauma medicine, and outpatient services for improvement opportunities. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all consulting activities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Extensive experience in various medical specialties including but not limited to dermatology, oncology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and emergency medicine. Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and clinical trials. Experience with patient service roles in inpatient settings such as hospitals or nursing homes. Familiarity with advanced medical procedures including catheterization, suturing, IV infusion, and wound care. Strong analytical skills to assess clinical practices and develop actionable recommendations. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
