Elmhurst Ballet School is thrilled to launch its very first recreational dance programme and we're looking for passionate, creative, and dedicated Contemporary teachers to join us on this exciting journey. Are you an experienced Contemporary dance teacher with an understanding of a wide range of contemporary techniques and styles? If so, this is your opportunity to become part of a dynamic new team delivering fun, inclusive, and high-quality dance classes to young people from all backgrounds.

Classes will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, offering a vibrant and flexible schedule that supports a wide range of participants, from parent-and-toddler sessions to junior and senior age groups, as well as adult learners. You'll play a key role in shaping a welcoming and inspiring environment where everyone can experience the joy and discipline of ballet.

We're offering part-time, hourly-paid contracts (fixed-term up to one year) for teachers who bring both qualified teaching status and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing dancers of all ages and abilities.

About Us



Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational ballet boarding school associated with Birmingham Royal Ballet and is based one mile from the city centre in Edgbaston. Our new dance programme will run on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in Birmingham. The programme is designed to deliver high quality dance education across all ages, ensuring dancers are engaged, being expertly taught, and enjoying the benefits of learning, growing and the opportunity to be creative.
