About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated

Contemporary Dance Teacher

to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate dance educator to inspire and guide students in exploring the expressive, boundary-pushing world of contemporary dance.

As part of your teaching, you'll help students develop strong technical foundations, expressive performance skills, and an appreciation for the history and techniques that shape contemporary dance today.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach contemporary dance classes to students of varying ages and abilities Plan engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Encourage emotional expression, physical awareness, and creative exploration Prepare students for performances, showcases, and assessments as needed Provide constructive feedback to support student progress Collaborate with other instructors and contribute to studio events and projects

Qualifications & Experience:

Prior teaching experience in contemporary dance preferred Dance degree or equivalent experience desirable Current DBS (or willing to obtain one) First aid training is an advantage

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 per week
