Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms, with a focus on
Facebook
and
LinkedIn
Monitor and respond to social media interactions and messages
Assist in growing social media audiences and engagement in line with brand tone and campaign goals
Report on social media performance and insights
Website Content and Updates
Manage updates to the
TMS/MPH websites
, ensuring content is fresh, accurate, and aligned with current campaigns
Support SEO efforts through keyword-rich and user-focused content
Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and style online
Content Creation and Management
Create compelling written and visual content for use across digital platforms, newsletters, and publications
Work with internal teams to gather stories, case studies, and project updates
Develop
Project Profiles
that highlight company work, achievements, and impact
Assist in producing marketing collateral including
journal adverts
and
e-newsletters
, particularly for industry publications such as
Seaplant
and other maritime media
Campaign Support
Contribute to content planning for marketing campaigns
Help coordinate timelines, assets, and approvals for content deployment
Support cross-functional teams in ensuring consistent messaging across channels
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience managing or assisting with social media accounts for a business or organisation
Strong writing and editing skills for digital and print content
Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS)
Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Interest in the maritime or industrial sectors a plus
Desirable Skills
Experience working with industry publications or creating PR content
Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Mailchimp)
