AliDeck, a UK-leading manufacturer of aluminium products for the construction sector, is looking for a content marketing professional to join their growing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this B2B position will lead on our content strategy combining their knowledge of social media, passion for written content and an eye for design.
The role will include running our social media channels, curating long and short form content for digital use, and designing collateral for core campaigns.
The successful candidate will be a creative content specialist who understands the impact of a well-planned content strategy on wider business objectives and will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on an essential market at the heart of British industry.
Duties
Develop and execute content plans to support key business goals including improved brand visibility and increased lead generation
Manage the group's B2B social media accounts on LinkedIn, including drafting and scheduling posts as well as designing any associated visuals assets
Monitor key metrics such as reach and engagement to inform changes to existing plans
Create longer form content including blog/news articles, newsletters, case studies, and other resource-based content to assert our position as market-leaders
Design sales collateral including product data sheets, presentations, leaflets/flyers and print adverts
Curate email marketing templates/designs for planned campaigns
Produce scripts and story boards to coordinate video and audio content with external partners, with an opportunity to be involved in hands-on video creation
Report against KPIs while offering insight and suggestions to improve other relevant metrics
Communicate with internal teams to ensure a collaborative approach to our work to ensure total alignment of the overarching strategy
Work alongside key external partners when it comes to design and video creation for maximum output in terms of quantity and quality
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar content marketing role
Experienced in using social media management tools for the creation and scheduling of posts as well as for reporting purposes (we currently use Zoho Social)
Good understanding of LinkedIn, including a working-knowledge of post boosting
Excellent written communication skills and an attention to detail
Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or similar tools for the creation of visual assets and design collateral
Ability to utilise AI to support tasks without dependence on its contribution
Previous use of Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms would be an advantage
Prior use of video creation tools would be a plus
Solid communication and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Curiosity for emerging content trends and a creative, ideas-based approach
