The role
Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in content and marketing?
QS Quacquarelli Symonds is looking for a Content Marketing Executive to support a thriving Content Team. This is your chance to gain hands-on higher education marketing experience, boost your social media, content writing and SEO skills.
You will be responsible for coordinating the successful production, promotion and reporting of business-to-business content as part of a friendly, dynamic team of digital writers and marketers.
The processes you will manage include uploading written content into WordPress, scheduling social media posts via HubSpot and LinkedIn, briefing high-quality assets to our creative team, and researching potential speakers and panellists for our global summits.
This is an opportunity to develop your existing organisational skills and boost your understanding of content marketing channels and techniques, learning from our friendly and experienced team.
Your role will be key as we look to expand the quality, quantity and breadth of outputs from the Content Team. As you progress in the role, you'll have opportunities to pitch and write your own articles, contribute to our sector-leading reports and white papers and gain skills across multiple digital platforms.
Role responsibilities
QS is a dynamic company - we need someone who works well under pressure and takes initiative. You'll report directly to the Content Marketing Manager, who you'll work with to deliver our B2B content plan.
Key tasks will include:
Scheduling written content and their accompanying social posts
Supporting our ambitions to leverage content from the thought leadership and expert communities we create at QS Summits.
Researching keynote speakers and panellists for our QS Summits
Reporting performance of QS.com articles using Google Analytics and HubSpot
Collaborating with the Institutional Marketing team, Creative Team and Social media team
Evaluating and producing reports on content performance and competitor analysis
Any other duties that fall within the scope and purpose of this role
Key skills and experience
Excellent written English skills and a strong attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Experience working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
An understanding of the key elements of quality online content
Interest in/knowledge of the international higher education sector
Excellent research skills
Creativity and ability to suggest new ideas, both for content planning and other marketing activities - we are looking for someone pro-active and flexible
A real team player and the confidence to work independently
Video editing skills for minor edits and social cuts
Copy and content writing skills or willingness to learn
