As a Content Officer at Active Leicester, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of sports and recreation in our city. Your passion for content creation and marketing, combined with your dedication to community engagement, will be instrumental in inspiring more people to lead active, healthy lifestyles. Develop innovative content and marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
Unlike traditional marketing roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to combine your expertise with a deep commitment to community development. You'll work closely with local stakeholders, community groups, and partners to create impactful initiatives that promote health and well-being.
This is a full time, permanent position. You'll be based at Aylestone Leisure Centre however, you will be required to travel across the city to undertake site visits.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day activities will be dynamic and varied. You'll balance content creation with strategic planning, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote sports and recreation in our community. Develop and manage high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, websites, email newsletters, print publications, advertising, and videos. Analyse content performance using digital analytics tools, providing data-driven insights to improve effectiveness.
What you'll need
Strong content creation skills, digital marketing expertise, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Creative problem-solving and effective collaboration with colleagues are essential. Staying updated on industry trends and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Effective communication skills to help work closely with various Active Leicester team members to ensure content aligns with overall strategy and objectives.
