We are seeking a creative Content & Social Intern to join our thriving team at Westbourne School in Penarth.

Role purpose
Capture and edit high-quality short-form video and social content that showcases school life and supports admissions goals. Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to supply ad-ready variants.
Key responsibilities
Planning & capture:
Storyboard, film and photograph on campus (student life, learning, events). Secure consents and adhere to safeguarding at all times.
Editing:
Produce platform-native Reels/TikToks/Shorts with captions/subtitles, strong hooks and thumbnails; deliver ad-ready cuts in multiple aspect ratios.
Publishing & community:
Schedule content, write concise on-brand captions, tag appropriately and assist with basic community management (escalation guidelines provided).
Maintain an organised drive/library with clear filenames, releases and versioning.
Performance:
Track simple metrics (views, watch-time, ER); feed learnings into new briefs.
Essential
A small
portfolio
of short videos/edits (CapCut/Adobe/Final Cut).
Confident filming on modern smartphone or mirrorless; basic audio/lighting.
Strong sense of story, pacing and captions; excellent organisation and reliability.
Professionalism and discretion working around students; understanding of safeguarding.
Desirable
Basic motion graphics/thumbnail design; photography.
Experience creating content for schools, universities or youth audiences.
