Content & Social Media Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Content & Social Media Executive to join the Cornish Lime team at our site in Bodmin, Cornwall. You'll work closely with our Marketing & Design Manager to bring three unique brands to life: Cornish Lime, Cornerstone, and Beeck Mineral Paints.

We're seeking someone who can bring energy and clarity to our communications, creating authentic content that resonates with our audiences. This varied, content-led role is ideal for someone who enjoys telling stories across multiple formats, whether that's an article, social caption, short-form video, behind-the-scenes snapshot or collaborating with influencers to expand our reach. Our content focuses on niche, technical topics, so collaborating onsite closely with a range of stakeholders will be key to this role.

What you'll be doing

1. Write compelling content for articles, news, newsletters, product pages, whitepapers, and more.

2. Assist with uploading and maintaining products across website and third-party platforms

3. Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimisation.

4. Support team members to write case studies, presentations or webinar content.

5. Develop and implement social media strategies and a content calendar.

6. Create social media copy, tailoring tone and messaging for each brand or platform.

7. Plan and produce images and short-form videos for social media.

8. Collaborate with influencers, partners, and customers to create engaging content.

9. Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to produce content that resonates with target audiences.

10. Support data analysis to help guide content decisions, iterations and improvements.

11. Maintain consistency in brand tone, clarity, and messaging across all content.

What we're looking for (the essentials):

1. Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and format.

2. Solid understanding of SEO principles and their application to written content.

3. Well-versed in social media platforms, photography, short-form video production, and influencer marketing.

4. Experience in developing content for both B2B and B2C.

5. Comfortable planning and producing images and short-form videos.

6. Keen to work with collaborators, influencers, and internal stakeholders.

7. Excited to work as part of a small and growing team.

Nice to have (but not essential):

1. Experience with B2B leads and creating tailored messaging and a structured funnel.

2. Experience with WordPress, SEO tools and email marketing automation.

3. Experience with paid ads (Google or Social).

4. An interest in architecture, interiors, or heritage buildings.

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
