The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Continuous Improvement Lead

Location: Fradley + occasional travel to other sites

Working Days / Times: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled a motivated Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team. As the Continuous Improvement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving process efficiency, quality improvement, and operational excellence across our organisation. You will lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives:

  • To support the development and drive the adoption of a C.I. culture and methodology at the Fradley site
  • Initially focusing on the Fradley site to rapidly deploy a standard way of measuring and improving performance
  • Supporting the Operations Manager, Production Supervisors, and other Supply Chain leaders to develop a performance culture within our business
  • Working with site operational team to generate improvement ideas and creating improvement strategies to deliver quantifiable cost benefits.
  • Support and contribute to the introduction of appropriate LEAN tools & techniques providing a C.I. Tool Kit for sites and functions to use to systematically improve overall performance in terms of Target Zero, Quality, Cost and Efficiency
  • Support the understanding of our stock process, yield improvement, mix variance & transactional excellence to deliver our stretching strategic imperatives.
  • Support the implementation of optimal planning in conjunction with Manufacturing & Supply Chain Planning
  • Visit other ABF & AB Agri sites to \xe2\x80\x9cLearn from others\xe2\x80\x9d & ensure Premier Nutrition is operating using best practise
  • Be an advocate for the Premier Nutrition Strategy
About you:
  • A strong understanding of continuous improvement processes, tools, and capability building
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver using multiple LEAN tools & techniques
  • Good understanding of change management to deliver the consistent change
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental good practice, quality assurance and control expectations.
  • Recognised C.I. qualification
  • Innovative, creative analytical person
  • Recognises when to persist and when to change course
  • Ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture
  • Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Resilient with an ability to manage ambiguity
